The Wiwa is a full-service restaurant nestled within the Naka Hotel & Resort in Kamala, offering a dining experience that balances relaxed elegance with seaside charm. Located just a short shuttle ride from the resort lobby, it’s a spot well-suited for those seeking a serene meal with views of the ocean, particularly around sunset when the terrace seating comes alive with natural light and cool sea breezes.

The menu reflects both local and Western influences, catering to a mix of resort guests and locals who appreciate a varied selection. Standouts like the Pineapple Fried Rice and Phuket Lobster Thermidor hint at traditional flavors presented with a refined touch, while dishes like Glass Noodle with Prawn and ปอเปี๊ยะ showcase local ingredients and tastes. The flexibility to order from the dinner menu during lunchtime adds a relaxed, unhurried feel for guests looking to linger over their meal.

Inside, the atmosphere balances open, airy spaces with touches of understated luxury. It’s spacious enough to find a quiet corner for a late lunch or a romantic dinner. The staff tends to be attentive without hovering, enhancing the overall calm vibe that fits well with the resort’s laid-back coastal setting.

The Wiwa appeals mostly to travelers staying at the Naka and visitors who appreciate a dining experience that brings together comfort, quality, and a view. Breakfast here is notably diverse, making it a solid choice for guests starting their day without leaving the hotel. For those popping in from outside, the combination of good food, attentive service, and the soundtrack of gentle waves makes it a convenient stop when exploring Kamala’s quieter dining scene.

Restaurant inside of the naka hotel and resort. Excellent food. Included breakfast if you're staying at the resort is quite good as well with lots of options!

Great setting with terrace near the sea. Excellent service with an interesting menucard. We enjoyed the cuisine which has a good standard. A shuttle bus service takes you from the lobby of the Naka to the restaurant Wiwa. Very commendable for an romantic evening

We stayed at The NAKA for 8 days during our round trip and had dinner here 7 out of 8 nights. We usually like to try different local restaurants, but the food was just so delicious that we had no reason to go out due to the somewhat secluded location. The restaurant is very attractively designed, it is clean and well maintained and the service is extremely attentive, courteous, authentic and welcoming. We tried almost all the different Thai curries and although all dishes with meat and/or fish were on the menu, they were specially prepared for us vegetarian. That was really great! We have high praise for WIWA and highly recommend you give it a try. The only minor drawback was that at times, few guests had their dinner here and we almost had a private dinner. This felt a bit odd given the size of the place, but also very exclusive. Especially Ice, Pok and Stop provided super service (as did everyone else) and it was a pleasure to meet them.

Best breakfast of my life, two days in a row. The buffet is incredible, there are options for everyone and will also handle special requests. Amazing food, service, and views. No brainer!

We stayed in the Naka and visited Wiwa for dinner upon nice reviews. It did not disappoint us. Food was delicious (though the Thai food we get is not spicy enough). Bread was served toasted warm with three different types of butter. The portion was heartily generous. Service was superb: attentive and helpful. The price is definitely pricy compared to any local eateries but we find it worth it. For hotel guests: Breakfast was of high standard too. Do try their western selection as it’s delicious :) note there’s extra cost if you order breakfast room service (either in bento or on floating tray)
